People Director (Fintech)

TL;DR

People Director (Fintech): Leading the People, Talent, and People Ops functions to raise talent density and transition the company to an AI-first operating model with an accent on organizational design and high-performance culture. Location: Hybrid in London (Moorgate office), requiring office presence at least 3-4 days per week, with occasional travel to Brighton, Cardiff, and Manchester.

What you will do

• Lead the People, Talent, and People Ops teams, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Leadership Team.
• Drive talent density by building an employer brand that attracts top-tier talent and ensuring high performance across all key roles.
• Architect organizational design and team structures specifically optimized for business outcomes in an AI-first world.
• Drive the organizational effort to embed AI systems and tools across every team in the business.
• Act as the steward of company culture and values to ensure they remain the bedrock of the organization as it scales.

Requirements

• Leadership experience within fast-growing and scaled businesses, specifically running a People/HR function.
• Proven track record of raising talent density through aggressive talent acquisition and performance management.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to run the People function as a business driver.
• Defined point of view on maintaining high-performance culture within an AI-first organization.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the London office.

Nice to have

• Experience outside of the People function, such as operational, commercial, or general management roles.
