TL;DR
People Director (AI) (Fintech): Leading People, Talent, and People Ops while building talent density and organisational design for an AI-first financial platform with an accent on executive leadership, high-performance culture, and scalable people structures. Focus on embedding AI systems across the business, attracting exceptional talent, and shaping organisational design around business outcomes.
Location: London, United Kingdom; based in the Moorgate office at least 3 days per week, preferably 4. Occasional travel to offices in Brighton, Cardiff, and Manchester is required.

What you will do
- Lead the People, Talent, and People Ops teams and sit on the Leadership Team.
- Attract and land exceptional talent, strengthen the employer brand, and raise talent density across the business.
- Drive the adoption of AI systems and tools across every team.
- Design the organisation and team structures around business outcomes in an AI-first operating model.
- Maintain and evolve company culture and values as the organisation scales.
Requirements
- Leadership experience in fast-growing and scaled businesses.
- Experience running a People or HR function, or having one report directly to you.
- Proven success attracting exceptional talent, developing high performers, and addressing underperformance quickly.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to run People as a business function.
- A clear perspective on maintaining a high-performance culture and strong values in an AI-first organisation.
- Experience outside the People function in operations, commercial work, or general management is beneficial.
