Senior Platform Hardware Engineer (Systems Integration)

What you will do

• Design and develop integrated software, firmware, and hardware solutions.
• Define system architecture, technical requirements, and customer use cases.
• Evaluate technical risks and optimize systems for performance, reliability, security, availability, and sustainability.
• Deploy systems, conduct benchmarks, and validate performance against customer needs.
• Run lab experiments and simulations, analyze prototypes, and refine system designs.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate system decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 6+ years of professional experience; or a Master's degree with 4+ years; or a PhD with 2+ years.
• Expertise in integrating software, firmware, and silicon/SoC components.
• Experience defining system requirements and translating customer needs into technical specifications.
• Understanding of hardware-software co-design, lifecycle optimization, performance analysis, and system benchmarking.
• Experience with debugging and root-cause analysis across integrated systems.
• Strong technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of Bluetooth protocols, profiles, and wireless communication standards.
• Familiarity with Windows, Chrome OS, or other platform ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with system testing, validation tools, and laboratory simulations.
• Experience collaborating with global engineering partners and research or academic organizations.
