M&A Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Evaluate and refine AI-generated responses covering M&A analysis, valuation, transaction structuring, due diligence, and strategic finance.
• Review prompts, outputs, calculations, assumptions, and written explanations for accuracy and professional quality.
• Identify errors in merger models, accretion/dilution analysis, enterprise value calculations, purchase accounting, synergies, and financing structures.
• Provide structured feedback explaining whether analysis is correct, incomplete, misleading, or unsound.
• Design or review challenging M&A scenarios and benchmark AI responses against expert financial analysis and transaction best practices.
• Help establish clear, precise, appropriately caveated communication standards for finance-related AI outputs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, transaction advisory, or a related field.
• Experience with financial modeling, including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, merger models, and accretion/dilution analysis.
• Strong knowledge of transaction processes, deal structuring, due diligence, valuation, financing, strategic rationale, financial statements, and purchase accounting.
• Experience evaluating business combinations, acquisition targets, transaction assumptions, and investment committee-style recommendations.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or advising on CIMs, management presentations, board materials, diligence reports, or investment memos.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, CPA, or another relevant advanced credential.
• Experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluation of AI-generated technical content.
