Senior Backend Engineer - Checkout (PHP/Go)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable checkout API architecture.
• Translate complex business requirements into clean, idiomatic Go implementations.
• Build high-throughput, low-latency services using Go concurrency primitives.
• Apply Test-Driven Development, pair programming, and automated CI/CD practices.
• Own technical initiatives from initial design through production deployment.
• Mentor developers through code reviews and collaborative engineering sessions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with modern PHP 8+ and Symfony or Laravel.
• Deep experience with Go, including goroutines and channels.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience optimizing MySQL and Redis data and caching layers.
• Strong English communication skills and a collaborative approach to engineering.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience or active interest in GenAI tools for development workflows or product features.
