Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

Location: Remote (Global) with relocation support to Hamburg, Germany available.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize production-grade Go services to handle massive traffic volumes.
• Design and maintain microservice architectures using Kafka and SQS/SNS for reliable communication.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate ML algorithms into production backend services.
• Build and scale diagnostic tooling to automate root-cause resolution across the stack.
• Manage infrastructure end-to-end using Terraform and Docker.
• Provide transparent, well-documented APIs for enterprise partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development with 3+ years specifically in Go.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Experience optimizing data access patterns in Druid, MySQL, Redis, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Docker.
• Ability to profile and eliminate bottlenecks in high-traffic applications.
