Plant Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Quapaw, Oklahoma, United States; onsite plant role. Travel may include up to 10% domestic travel. Relocation may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $145,676–$178,049 expected compensation range, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Develop and implement the annual capital budget and recommend allocations for major expenditures.
• Manage plant engineering, maintenance systems, preventive maintenance, equipment, tools, and plant drawings, standards, and procedures.
• Lead construction administration and manage plant projects, contracts, bids, specifications, purchase orders, and contractor communications.
• Supervise, develop, train, coach, and evaluate process engineers, maintenance engineers, plant staff, and interns.
• Compile plant data and reports for state and federal regulatory compliance, while maintaining PSM and safety requirements.
• Evaluate manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve efficiency, reliability, safety, and cost performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least eight years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience.
• At least five years of supervisory experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.
• Experience or knowledge in plant equipment and maintenance practices, chemical, electrical, and mechanical systems, and industrial health and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and plant projects from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering.
• CapEx and project management experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
