Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Onsite in Lexington, Minnesota; onboarding and training will take place at facilities in Blaine or Anoka, Minnesota until the new facility opens in 2027.

Salary: $76,000–$141,100 per year, with possible annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing projects from planning through completion, including budgets, schedules, and implementation.
• Facilitate Lean manufacturing improvements using Kaizen and 5S to optimize layouts, material flow, and waste reduction.
• Support CAPEX requests and implement new production equipment.
• Design and develop fixtures to support production and improve quality.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement lasting corrective solutions.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders, update manufacturing documentation, and mentor manufacturing engineering technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• 2+ years of people leadership or mentorship experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and statistical analysis software, preferably Minitab.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards, and PLM systems, preferably Enovia; strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
