Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States; territory includes New Haven, Connecticut, Bronx, New York, and Waterbury, Connecticut. Permanent residence in the listed territory is required. Field-based work includes up to 50% on-site time with healthcare providers and up to 75% travel.
Base pay: $102,000–$177,100 per year, plus eligibility for the long-term incentive program.

What you will do
- Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submission, coding, payer procedures, and access requirements.
- Provide field-based reimbursement, access, fulfillment, and affordability support for neuroscience therapies.
- Analyze account data and payer policies to identify and resolve patient access barriers.
- Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J functions.
- Build customer relationships, manage territory routing and business planning, and maintain knowledge of market and coverage dynamics.
- Operate according to applicable ethical, legal, compliance, and engagement standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare or business/public administration.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
- Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals.
- Experience with patient support HUB services and the ability to collaborate and influence across a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and follow-through skills.
- Valid US driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the listed territory are required.
Nice to have
- Neuroscience disease-state experience.
- Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, payer policy, and pharmaceutical reimbursement.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
