Patient Access & Pre-Access Supervisor (AI)

Location: Bristol, Tennessee; applicants must reside and be authorized to work within the United States.

Salary: $47,400 annually as a starting rate; final compensation depends on experience.

What you will do

• Supervise daily patient access and pre-access operations, including registration, scheduling, staffing coverage, and productivity.
• Track point-of-service collections, wait times, overtime, productivity, and other department KPIs.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and support staff while coordinating onboarding and continuous development.
• Resolve complex patient and operational issues and serve as a resource for staff and ancillary departments.
• Develop and implement process improvements, audits, reports, and assigned operational projects.
• Participate in an on-call rotation covering days, nights, and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of job experience and 2–3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business preferred.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree.
• CHAM and CRCR certifications.
• Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, verification, and hospital billing.
• Ability to lead others, analyze operational data, and use Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated advanced use of AI and team management with AI for process and technology improvements.
