Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States, with a territory covering St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri, plus Little Rock and Fort Smith, Arkansas. Permanent residence in the listed territory is required. The role involves up to 50% on-site work with healthcare providers and up to 75% travel.

What you will do

  • Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, coding, coverage, and payer requirements.
  • Serve as the field-based expert for patient access, fulfillment, reimbursement, and affordability solutions for neuroscience therapies.
  • Identify and resolve access barriers by analyzing account data and coordinating with providers, payers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, marketing, medical science, and PECS teams.
  • Build customer relationships, manage territory logistics and routing, and develop account business plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of payer policies, hub services, specialty distribution channels, and market dynamics while following legal and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
  • Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals processes.
  • Experience with patient support hub services and the ability to build relationships and influence across a matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid US driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the assigned territory are required.

Nice to have

  • Neuroscience disease-state experience.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and payer reimbursement policies.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
