Location: Washington, DC territory, including Bethesda and Silver Spring, Maryland, United States. Must live in the geography or be willing to relocate to it. The role requires travel of up to 50%, including possible overnight and weekend travel.
Salary: $79,000–$127,650 base pay for Sales Specialist; higher ranges apply to Senior Sales Specialist and Executive Sales Specialist levels.

What you will do
- Engage healthcare professionals and stakeholders using customer-specific approaches aligned with practitioner priorities, institutional needs, and patient outcomes.
- Develop expertise in the Neuroscience portfolio, including Caplyta, and communicate approved clinical and scientific information using authorized materials.
- Create and execute territory and account plans, prioritize stakeholders, and optimize selling time across accounts and care settings.
- Analyze business and market data to identify opportunities, assess performance, and adjust execution strategies.
- Apply knowledge of payer access, affordability, and reimbursement dynamics to support appropriate therapy utilization and adherence.
- Collaborate with internal partners and customers across face-to-face, virtual, and digital channels while maintaining healthcare compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MS, MBA, or PhD preferred.
- Valid driver’s license issued by one of the 50 United States required.
- At least three years of relevant experience in healthcare sales, account management, customer-facing roles, business-to-business sales, or recent active-duty military service.
- Must live in the Washington, DC geography or be willing to relocate there.
- Experience with structured selling, problem solving, partnership building, strategic sales planning, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight and weekend travel.
Nice to have
- Experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic area, complex accounts, institutional environments, or integrated delivery networks.
- Experience with payer access, reimbursement, affordability, or sales in a competitive environment.
- Clinical and scientific communication experience using approved materials.
- Conversational Spanish alongside English.
- Experience learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI.
