What you will do

• Implement the Data Management Program within an assigned business unit and train business and technology personnel.
• Facilitate data management working groups and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify critical data elements, capture metadata, and monitor data quality through enterprise KPIs and KRIs.
• Measure compliance with data management policies and standards and facilitate remediation of data-related issues.
• Analyze large data sets to generate business insights and demonstrate the use of data management and business intelligence tools.
• Maintain risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards and escalate issues when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a qualifying combination of higher education and work experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical ability, creative problem-solving skills, and project management leadership.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams at different organizational levels.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, graphing, presentations, and financial models.
• Must work in or be based in Buffalo, New York, United States of America.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and at least 8 years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of data management practices, bank products, systems, workflows, process improvement, and business process management.
• Basic SQL programming knowledge and proficiency with relevant project and presentation software.
