Senior Data Management and Quality Analyst

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid work with in-person attendance at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week

Salary: $82,700–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop expertise in hirify.global’s credit and alternative data assets and provide subject matter guidance across business and data initiatives.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Lead data quality investigations, identify root causes, and implement improvements to data performance and customer outcomes.
• Design and maintain data quality measures, analytical reports, and dashboards for operational and executive stakeholders.
• Partner with business and technology teams on Business Acceptance Testing for data events, platform changes, and product enhancements.
• Lead projects from concept through implementation while improving processes, automation, and analytical best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data management, business analytics, information systems, statistics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in data analysis, data management, data quality, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Advanced SQL skills, including querying, investigating, and analyzing large, complex datasets.
• Experience developing data quality measures, analytical reporting, or dashboards and translating technical findings into business recommendations.
• Ability to independently lead initiatives, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial services, credit risk, consumer credit, or another data-driven industry.
• Experience with Linux command-line tools, Python, R, Tableau, Apache Superset, or similar analytical and visualization tools.
• Experience with BigQuery, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Redshift, EMR, or comparable large-scale and cloud data platforms.
