Analyst, Business Effectiveness (Banking)

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional incentive compensation may be available.

What you will do

• Support portfolio management and administer the project intake process.
• Prepare materials for oversight forums and coordinate change initiative meetings.
• Maintain procedures, onboarding materials, job descriptions, inventories, presentations, and other team documentation.
• Support governance, data quality, records retention, risk management, and project controls.
• Identify workflow improvements and contribute to practical, policy-aligned solutions.
• Partner with business units, technology teams, and support teams to guide work through established processes.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in project management, process improvement, business operations, or a related field.
• Experience with project management principles, process improvement practices, and Microsoft Office.
• Degree or diploma in business, finance, project management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to review information for accuracy and maintain complete documentation, records, and reporting.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience with portfolio governance or change initiative oversight in a banking environment.
• Background in financial services.
