What you will do

• Work with R&D to develop and support new product projects using design-to-cost and design-for-manufacturability principles.
• Transition new and improved products from development through full-scale production while verifying performance and reliability.
• Improve existing production lines, processes, and costs.
• Define tooling and equipment requirements, justify capital investments, and qualify equipment for production.
• Develop process and product documentation, including flow charts, FMEAs, work instructions, routings, specifications, and assembly information.
• Analyze process variation, product failures, field problems, and customer complaints; implement corrective actions and audit internal and supplier processes.

Requirements

• Experience with manufacturing processes, new product introduction, and production transition.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturability, process documentation, tooling, and equipment qualification.
• Ability to conduct error-proofing analysis, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ability to collaborate with R&D, internal technical teams, external suppliers, and quality functions.
