What you will do

• Lead integrated communications strategies for the Development organization and clinical pipeline.
• Advise senior leaders on executive visibility, organizational communications, business priorities, change initiatives, and issues management.
• Develop scientific narratives and milestone communications across the clinical development lifecycle.
• Translate complex science into clear communications for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate messaging across Research, Medical, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Investor Relations, and Corporate Affairs.
• Lead and develop a communications team while managing agencies and external resources.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of communications or public relations experience, or a master's degree and 7 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a related scientific industry.
• Experience with strategic communications for scientific, regulatory, or business initiatives in a matrixed organization.
• Strong scientific communications, writing, storytelling, presentation, executive communications, and business acumen skills.
• Experience leading communications professionals and managing agency partners or external vendors.
