What you will do
- Provide strategic communications counsel for the U.S. rare blood disorders portfolio, including marketed products and late-stage clinical assets.
- Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies aligned with business and brand priorities.
- Lead disease awareness, branded communications, digital communications, and regulatory milestone programs.
- Partner with U.S. and global Corporate Affairs and Media Relations colleagues to align messaging and positioning.
- Develop innovative digital and social media approaches to reach key audiences and support the rare blood disorder patient community.
- Manage the communications agency of record, including strategic direction, deliverables, and execution quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Communications, Business Administration, or Journalism preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in product public relations, communications, and/or corporate communications.
- At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry or at a healthcare public relations agency.
- Experience in both internal and external communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration, negotiation, influencing, and matrixed-environment skills.
