Maintenance Technician III (Biotech)

Location: Onsite in North Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $27–$48.80 per hour

What you will do

• Provide senior-level technical support within the maintenance department.
• Maintain department assets to ensure reliable equipment performance and quality standards.
• Support root cause investigations and reliability-centered maintenance analysis.
• Train lower-level technicians on advanced maintenance tasks.
• Support cross-functional teams, continuous improvement projects, and site safety initiatives.
• Follow applicable safety and GMP regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of experience, or a relevant certificate with 5+ years, or an associate technical degree with 3+ years of experience; alternatively, proficiency in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
• Electrical experience with motors, controls, and PLCs.
• Advanced machine, diagnostic, and predictive tools experience.
• Intermediate computer skills with MS Windows.
• Ability to work onsite in North Chicago, Illinois.

Nice to have

• CMRT certification or equivalent accreditation.
