Maintenance Technician IV - IDAP (Nights)

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio, USA; onsite 12-hour night shift, 2/2/3 schedule from 6:00pm to 6:30am

Salary: $28.50–$46.50 per hour

What you will do

• Perform corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance on automated process equipment in controlled manufacturing areas.
• Complete emergency repairs, inspections, line turnarounds, equipment changeovers, installations, testing, and adjustments.
• Troubleshoot electronic, environmental monitoring, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, support upgrades and validation projects, and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Complete work orders, batch records, maintenance logs, and other documentation in compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and OSHA requirements.
• Train production operators on equipment setup, minor adjustments, and repairs while maintaining cleanroom and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience maintaining automated process equipment in a regulated GMP environment.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment failures independently with limited supervision.
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems such as Maximo or SAP to manage work orders.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals and complete GMP documentation accurately.
• Ability to understand, read, write, and communicate in English; visa and work-authorization sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED, associate degree, or vocational/trade certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation disciplines.
• 4+ years of equipment maintenance experience in pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing.
• Experience with OEE, TPM, LEAN, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with automated pharmaceutical inspection, assembly, packaging, or filling equipment.
