Maintenance Technician III (HVAC Controls)

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States. Onsite role with a 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Monday–Friday shift.

Salary: $27–$48.80 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide senior-level technical support within the maintenance department.
• Maintain department assets to support equipment reliability and quality standards.
• Assist with root cause investigations and reliability-centered maintenance analysis.
• Create and edit maintenance job plans across multiple skilled trade disciplines.
• Train lower-level technicians on advanced maintenance tasks.
• Support cross-functional improvement projects and site safety initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 10+ years of experience, a relevant certificate with 5+ years of experience, or an associate technical degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
• Knowledge of advanced machine, diagnostic, and predictive tools.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Windows.
• Ability to follow safety and GMP regulations.

Nice to have

• CMRT certification or equivalent accreditation.
