Senior Associate Scientist (Immunoassay)

Salary: $80,300–$131,100 annually

What you will do

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot immunoassays, including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, with minimal supervision.
• Develop immunoassay methods and prepare validation protocols for study director review.
• Perform validation experiments and prepare results, reports, and procedure documents.
• Process samples, run assays, and analyze data under current GxP guidance.
• Evaluate new immunoassay technologies, formats, and techniques.
• Operate laboratory instruments, oversee maintenance and verification, and manage reagents, supplies, cleanliness, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field.
• Three to six years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of immunoassays using multiple detection systems.
• Understanding of methods for measuring proteins and immunogenicity.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice, FDA regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in Tarrytown, New York.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Prior bioanalytical assay development experience.
