What you will do

• Drive technology development in RNA therapeutics and genetic medicines.
• Apply biology and chemistry to oligonucleotide drug discovery and delivery to cellular targets.
• Perform molecular and cellular biology experiments, including nucleic acid transfection, protein and RNA isolation, and protein and RNA analysis.
• Develop and implement automated high-throughput RT-qPCR and RNA-seq workflows.
• Conduct mammalian tissue culture and cell-based assays, including work with primary cells.
• Design and execute in vivo pharmacology studies, including model implementation, dosing, sample collection, and processing.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or a qualifying combination of a bachelor’s, associate’s, or high school diploma/GED with related scientific research experience.
• Hands-on experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques and assays.
• Experience with mammalian tissue culture and cell-based assays; primary cell experience is essential.
• Experience developing and implementing automated RT-qPCR and RNA-seq workflows.
• Ability to plan, execute, and analyze experiments across in vitro and in vivo systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for presentations and cross-functional collaboration.
