Financial Accountant (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Oversee financial transactions and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Complete GL, bank, cash flow, payroll tax, WorkCover, asset, and intercompany reconciliations for Australian and New Zealand entities.
• Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, FBT, and WorkCover reporting and support external audits.
• Manage accounts receivable, customer collections, sales orders, vendor data, purchase orders, and corporate credit cards.
• Provide SAP and Concur administration, procurement training, user support, and system implementation assistance.
• Support sustainability reporting, OPEX reviews, controlling activities, process improvements, and business performance reporting.

Requirements

• CA or CPA qualification with at least five years of post-admission experience.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and knowledge of accounting standards and financial governance.
• Sound understanding of Australian tax and regulatory requirements.
• Post-qualification experience as a management accountant in healthcare or a corporate environment.
• Experience with finance systems; SAP experience is desirable.
• Strong report development, analytical, interpretive, critical reasoning, and continuous improvement skills.
