Accounting Specialist (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Manage daily general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, payroll postings, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records in line with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
• Support VAT, withholding tax, Confirmation of Arrivals, EU reporting, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and prepare financial reports.
• Execute manual and mass payment runs and support cash reporting and treasury activities.
• Prepare audit documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, record-to-report, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preferred knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent English proficiency required.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, flexible, team-oriented, and willing to travel internationally approximately 10% of the time.
