Cost Accountant

Location: Hybrid, Mulgrave, Victoria, Australia

What you will do

• Provide accurate product costs for internal and external customers.
• Update and maintain finished product and component costs in SAP.
• Prepare production variance reporting, forecasts, and latest best estimates for senior management and corporate reporting.
• Complete annual standard costing and planning processes, including standards for new products.
• Analyze direct labor, work in progress, overhead recovery, manufacturing variances, and production throughput.
• Support month-end activities, including headcount reporting, RIDS, and inventory reserves.

Requirements

• Experience in cost accounting and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Ability to analyze material usage variance and purchase price variance on a monthly and year-to-date basis.
• Experience with SAP cost maintenance and production costing data.
• Ability to prepare detailed financial analysis and reporting by SKU, molecule, and production stage.
• Availability for a full-time hybrid role in Mulgrave, Victoria, Australia.
