Senior Building Envelope Project Director (Restoration)

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead condition assessments and repair or rehabilitation design for existing and historic buildings.
• Develop and review drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical deliverables.
• Coordinate technical decisions with architects, envelope consultants, contractors, and engineers.
• Review junior staff work, delegate effectively, and provide mentorship and feedback.
• Support project management, proposals, site visits, construction meetings, and client-facing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture, or a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in building envelope restoration, preservation architecture, or forensic investigation.
• Expertise in façade assessment, repair and rehabilitation design, and construction-phase services for existing and historic buildings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit, including technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, engineering judgment, and emerging leadership skills.
