TL;DR
Senior Software Developer (AI) (TypeScript/JavaScript, Vue, Nuxt): Designing and delivering maintainable software products, learning platforms, web applications, APIs, and databases with an accent on full-stack development, application architecture, and secure production coding. Focus on directing AI development tools, validating AI-generated code, leading end-to-end projects, and mentoring developers through complex technical challenges.
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, US; hybrid work model

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software products including training and learning platforms, web applications, client portals, databases, reports, and queries.
- Own assigned projects end to end, from refining requirements and setting technical direction through launch, maintenance, and support.
- Design application architecture, data models, service boundaries, and integration points for reusable and maintainable systems.
- Troubleshoot complex software problems, develop prototypes and proofs of concept, and ensure browser compatibility and responsive user interfaces.
- Lead final-stage code reviews, approve changes, and maintain the integrity of shipped code.
- Mentor less experienced developers and communicate technical concepts to users, clients, and programmers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience, including 2+ years owning projects end to end.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue, Nuxt, HTML, CSS, server-side web services and APIs including WCF, MS SQL Server with T-SQL, and MySQL.
- Production experience with REST architecture, application design, data models, integrations, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- Experience directing AI development tools on complex projects and critically reviewing AI-generated code for correctness, security, and structure.
- Strong knowledge of website security, reusable and documented coding practices, Git branching and pull request workflows, and repository troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Salt Lake City, Utah, US.

- Experience with SCORM and learning platforms.
- Experience with Azure projects, web apps, blob storage, pipelines, releases, and permissions.
