Senior Software Developer (AI/.NET)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; hybrid work. Candidates must live in the United States or its territories and be willing to travel for periodic in-person events.

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, modify, and test web-based and mobile software products.
• Implement high-quality software components using .NET technologies in AWS and Agile environments.
• Contribute to software architecture design and enhance existing systems.
• Assist with production system management to support a reliable end-user experience.
• Evaluate complex proof-of-concepts for feasibility, risk, and scalability.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other software developers.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of software development experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Angular 2+, TypeScript, .NET Core, C#, Visual Studio, ORM, HTML5, CSS3, Web API, and microservices-oriented architecture.
• Experience with SQL queries and stored procedures, GitHub, branching strategies, code reviews, coding standards, and deployments.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Must live in the United States or its territories and be able to travel for periodic in-person events.

Nice to have

• AWS services including DynamoDB, ElastiCache, S3, Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Quick.
• NGRX, Ionic, and cloud-based CI/CD automation experience.
• Experience building or integrating data science, machine learning, or GenAI solutions through validated proofs of concept.
• Knowledge of prompt design, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, tool use, and AI security risks.
• .NET or AWS certification, relevant AI/ML training, or a passion for higher education.
