Partner Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York City or San Francisco, with remote work available in the United States. Occasional travel to support partners and attendance at the annual 3-day company offsite are required.

Salary: $182,000–$200,000 annually in NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Seattle; $154,700–$170,000 annually for remote US roles. Equity is offered.

What you will do

• Bridge sales and partner engineering teams through technical handoffs, implementation planning, integration architecture, and time-to-market estimates.
• Write production code with partners, debug complex issues, and build scalable integrations and partner-facing features.
• Own post-sales technical strategy, roadmap alignment, partner adoption, and escalation support.
• Advise technical stakeholders from engineers to C-suite executives and provide feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Lead the identification, prototyping, and delivery of AI-powered capabilities across hirify.global’s product and internal technology stack.
• Evaluate AI frameworks, models, and tools while helping partners apply AI to payroll and workforce-management workflows.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building with AI, including LLMs, AI agents, or AI-powered tools.
• At least 2 years of software engineering experience writing and shipping production code.
• Required experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.
• Experience with APIs and technical infrastructure, plus the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical executives.
• Strong communication, executive presence, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and priority-management skills.
• Ability to work in the United States in the stated remote or hybrid locations, attend the annual offsite, and travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing or solutions engineering experience at a fintech or SaaS platform.
• Experience working at the intersection of engineering and product.
