Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse - Weekend Nights (Fri-Sun, 9pm-9am ET)

Location: Remote within the continental United States; residence in a nursing compact state is required. Weekend night schedule: Friday–Sunday, 9:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m. ET.

Base salary: $70,200–$74,700 per year.

What you will do

• Conduct initial patient risk assessments, crisis consultations, and urgency-based triage for mental health conditions.
• Coordinate care with obstetricians, advanced practice providers, nurses, care coordinators, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop individualized care plans and monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about perinatal mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Advocate for patient autonomy, dignity, and access to patient-centered care.
• Participate in professional development and training in perinatal mental health nursing.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted multistate compact license and residence in a nursing compact state.
• Residence in the continental United States.
• At least 4 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations.
• Experience or advanced training in psychiatric nursing, perinatal mental health, or a related field.
• Experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Nice to have

• Perinatal Mental Health Certification.
• Experience in case management, care navigation, or virtual care.
• Experience providing care in Spanish.
