What you will do

• Implement high-quality product features as part of an agile development team.
• Translate requirements and designs into functional Java code.
• Use AI engineering tools for discovery, code understanding, prototyping, implementation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with product management and product owners to improve the platform and develop new features.
• Improve local and cloud deployments, estimate work, maintain existing code, and resolve defects.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Java.
• Strong collaboration, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently and understand complex features and environments.
• Ability to apply sound engineering judgment when using AI engineering tools.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bristol, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• UI development experience with JavaScript, Vue, or React.
• Experience with IDEs, Git, Jenkins, Maven, or Bazel.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and identity management protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Understanding of certificate and key management, cryptography, enterprise-scale security systems, and modern software design patterns.
