What you will do

• Implement, test, debug, operate, and maintain software systems using advanced software security techniques.
• Perform ongoing security testing and participate in code reviews to improve software security and functionality.
• Design and develop new software and modify existing systems to address technical and security requirements.
• Recommend engineering designs that mitigate software vulnerabilities and contribute across all architecture levels.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation while collaborating with team members on secure coding practices.
• Learn and apply new tools, technologies, and software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required.
• TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of comparable software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• At least six years of recent experience developing production software for Solaris or Linux environments.
• Six years of experience with Java, C, or C++, plus experience with RESTful services, Java development, Kubernetes, NoSQL products, and analytics applications.
