Senior Manager, Program Management - Digital Enablement - CA (BAS/IoT)

Salary: $80,000–$155,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation

What you will do

• Lead Walmart Canada's digital asset strategy, capital planning, and modernization of building management systems across retail facilities.
• Own BAS design, installation, controller-point, communication-protocol, and network-architecture standards.
• Transition legacy controls to software-defined platforms supporting remote diagnostics, telemetry, energy management, and AI-driven predictive maintenance.
• Coordinate with Global Tech, Construction, Facilities Maintenance, Energy, and Procurement teams to improve uptime and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Apply information security and network architecture policies across building automation and operational technology environments.
• Manage vendors, contractors, KPIs, SLAs, escalations, and critical automation failures.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in building automation systems, commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and lighting controls in large-scale, multi-vendor environments.
• Experience authoring and enforcing enterprise engineering standards, construction specifications, and design guidelines.
• Experience leading technology upgrades, prototype pilots, and hardware-to-software migrations across commercial retail or multi-site facilities.
• Practical understanding of operational technology security, network protocols, and corporate cybersecurity requirements.
• At least 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and 3 years using intermediate Microsoft Office functionality.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field with 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant project management, compliance, or operations experience.

Nice to have

• Experience managing budgets, profit and loss statements, or related financial processes.
• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Project Management Certification.
