Manufacturing Engineer Co-op

Location: Knoxville, TN, United States; full-time, in-person co-op from January to August 2027.

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour, based on position and academic year.

hirify.global is an international commercial HVAC manufacturer producing equipment for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

What you will do

• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures for daily production.
• Troubleshoot machines and support production operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Contribute to facility layout design and manufacturing process development.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization and present project results to company leaders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a related bachelor’s degree program such as Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing, or Applied Engineering.
• On track to graduate within the next three semesters or less.
• Interest in hands-on learning and experience using basic hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, throughout the eight-month co-op term in Knoxville.
