Multifamily Field Engineer WA

Location: Seattle–Snohomish County, Washington, United States; work is performed at a project site. Overnight travel and overtime may be required.

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendents in managing subcontractors and suppliers on multifamily construction projects.
• Review construction documents, changes, and addenda to identify potential conflicts and future issues.
• Inspect foundations, rough-trade work, trusses, materials, deliveries, and construction methods for quality and compliance.
• Create, distribute, and track punch lists, office documents, delivery logs, daily reports, and construction records.
• Coordinate truss repairs with manufacturers and walk truss inspections with structural engineers.
• Monitor site safety, subcontractor reporting, and weekly safety meeting documentation.

Requirements

• Ability to work on a construction project site in the Seattle–Snohomish County area.
• Ability to review construction documents and identify deficiencies, conflicts, and unsafe work practices.
• Ability to inspect foundations, rough trades, trusses, materials, and construction quality.
• Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, project managers, superintendents, structural engineers, and city officials.
• Ability to work overtime and travel overnight.
• Professional and ethical conduct and compliance with company safety policies.
