Maintenance Shop Technician C (Diesel Equipment)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA; onsite maintenance role

Salary: $21.90–$31.45 per hour, plus weekly overtime; another listed pay range is $21.90–$30.07 per hour depending on locality.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under the supervision of a lead technician, maintenance supervisor, or maintenance manager.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify equipment issues or malfunction sources using a variety of tools.
• Complete oil changes, fluid replenishment, vehicle inspections, adjustments, tire changes, and light repairs.
• Perform basic electrical work, including light replacements.
• Complete applicable company training programs and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive, onsite maintenance environment in Colorado Springs, USA.

Nice to have

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification.
