What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize database solutions for a large-scale SaaS platform.
• Create, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Evolve relational data models for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Investigate and resolve database reliability, availability, and data integrity issues.
• Contribute to data architecture and platform design decisions.
• Collaborate with software developers, architects, customer support, and operations teams in an agile environment.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in software development, database development, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, relational databases, SQL, and Java development.
• Experience designing and optimizing database schemas and data models.
• Extensive hands-on experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Fluent English and very good German, written and spoken, are required.
