Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, United States

Compensation: $102,200–$234,800 USD annually, depending on U.S. geographic zone.

What you will do

• Own the technical outcome of strategic customer deployments from initial implementation through scaled production use.
• Deploy and configure the platform across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Build integrations with data systems, identity providers, reporting tools, SIEM, ITSM, and downstream remediation systems using APIs.
• Develop production-grade data pipelines, custom classifiers, automations, integrations, and agent-based workflows.
• Configure, tune, and troubleshoot Kubernetes, containers, Linux, cloud infrastructure, data, deployment, and integration layers.
• Lead technical customer sessions and collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering on proofs of concept and issue resolution.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, platform engineering, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong software engineering skills in at least one language such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, Linux, cloud platforms, hybrid environments, APIs, system integration, and SQL/NoSQL data stores.
• Experience building practical technical solutions such as scripts, integrations, data pipelines, classifiers, automations, or internal tools.
• Ability to translate complex security, privacy, compliance, and business needs into clear technical plans and communicate with executives and technical teams.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with DSPM, CSPM, DLP, data governance, privacy platforms, or related security domains.
• Experience with AI agents, agentic coding assistants, MCP, or RAG systems.
• Familiarity with GDPR, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and enterprise data protection controls.
