Mortgage Solutions Specialist (Mortgage Servicing)

Location: 11550 Ent Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO, United States

Salary: $25–$29 per hour, plus incentives and a 3% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Support members experiencing financial hardship by identifying mortgage assistance and repayment solutions.
• Manage delinquent residential and commercial real estate loan portfolios, including collections, loss mitigation, loan modifications, and default servicing.
• Evaluate defaulted loans and recommend workout, recovery, or foreclosure strategies.
• Coordinate foreclosure activities with attorneys, members, and third-party vendors while meeting regulatory and servicing requirements.
• Manage REO property obligations, including insurance, taxes, preservation, and disposition.
• Prepare and monitor mortgage insurance claims, maintain accurate records, resolve complex account issues, and improve servicing efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of financial institution customer service experience, including 2+ years of mortgage, real estate servicing, or collections experience.
• Professional, diplomatic communication skills and the ability to explain critical information calmly.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web-based transactional systems, and collection software.
• Knowledge of VA, FNMA, FHA, FHLB, and GNMA programs; familiarity with collection, bankruptcy, credit reporting, BSA, FCRA, GLBA, FDCPA, CFPB, and state and federal collection laws is preferred.
