Salary: $22–$26 per hour, plus incentives and a 3% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Support members experiencing financial hardship by identifying mortgage assistance and loss mitigation solutions.
• Manage delinquent residential and commercial real estate loan accounts, including collections, loan modifications, and default servicing.
• Respond to requests about loan modifications, payoff inquiries, and mortgage assistance programs.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor mortgage insurance claims.
• Support foreclosure activities by coordinating with attorneys and conducting member outreach.
• Maintain accurate records and use servicing and collection systems to manage accounts and member requests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of combined financial institution experience in customer service, lending, or collections.
• At least 1 year of mortgage or real estate servicing or collections experience.
• Professional, diplomatic communication skills and the ability to work with diverse personalities.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web-based transactional systems, and collection software; knowledge of VA, FNMA, FHA, FHLB, and GNMA is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of collection, bankruptcy, credit reporting, Bank Secrecy Act, FCRA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, FDCPA, CFPB, and state and federal collection laws.
