Field Access Manager (Diabetes)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, USA, with field coverage across Cleveland and Columbus; eligible for hire in select U.S. locations

Salary: USD 150,000–165,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the primary field contact for designated healthcare accounts and their staff on patient access and reimbursement matters.
• Educate healthcare professionals on patient services, payer requirements, prior authorizations, appeals, specialty pharmacy, and access barriers.
• Coordinate HUB and specialty pharmacy pathways, annual pharmacy reauthorizations, and patient support processes.
• Partner with Sales, Market Access, Patient Services, Strategic Accounts, and external stakeholders to resolve time-sensitive access issues.
• Build and execute strategic business plans for priority accounts and support market access initiatives.
• Provide field insights on payer, PBM, specialty pharmacy, formulary, and patient access dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced healthcare or scientific degree such as MS, RN, PA, PharmD, or similar is advantageous.
• 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including payer policy and patient access.
• 5+ years of experience with benefit verification, prior authorization requirements, or equivalent patient access work.
• Knowledge of CMS policies and Medicare Parts B and D, specialty markets, HUB and reimbursement services, and patient access programs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications, Microsoft Teams, and Veeva systems.

Nice to have

• Pediatric Endocrinology or Endocrinology experience.
• Previous launch experience in an access or reimbursement role.
• Experience in product marketing, managed care, field sales, case management, or large healthcare practices.
• Advanced degree.
