Field Access Manager (Diabetes)

Location: Philadelphia/Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA; field-based account coverage in designated healthcare professional offices.

Salary: USD 150,000–165,000 yearly

What you will do

• Serve as the main point of contact for designated healthcare professional accounts and represent Patient Services platforms in their offices.
• Educate healthcare professional staff on patient services, payer policies, pharmacy channels, prior authorizations, appeals, and access barriers.
• Coordinate HUB and specialty pharmacy pathways, annual pharmacy reauthorizations, and patient access support after appropriate HIPAA consent.
• Partner with Sales, Market Access, Patient Services, Strategic Accounts, and external stakeholders to resolve access issues and improve adherence.
• Build and execute strategic business plans for top accounts and support regional market access initiatives.
• Provide field insights and maintain expertise in payer, PBM, specialty pharmacy, formulary, and utilization management requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced healthcare or scientific degree such as MS, RN, PA, or PharmD is advantageous.
• 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with payer policy and patient access experience.
• 5+ years of experience with benefit verification, prior authorization requirements, or equivalent patient access work.
• Knowledge of CMS policies and Medicare Parts B and D, specialty markets, HUB/reimbursement services, and patient support programs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, cross-functional collaboration, and independent working skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, Microsoft Teams, and Veeva systems.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree.
• Pediatric Endocrinology or Endocrinology experience.
• Previous launch experience in an access or reimbursement role.
• Experience in product marketing, managed care, field sales, case management, or large healthcare practices.
