Senior Patient Access Liaison (West)

Location: Field based in the Western U.S.; candidates must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory borders and travel 50% or more by air and car. Key cities include Denver, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Irvine.

Base salary: $200,000–$230,000 USD annually, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Support healthcare sites with REMS certification, patient enrollment, and treatment access readiness.
• Educate site and office personnel on coverage, coding, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, affordability programs, and reimbursement processes.
• Guide case management and treatment logistics across HUBs, specialty pharmacies, distribution partners, and other approved support pathways.
• Identify and resolve patient access barriers while coordinating referrals and handoffs with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain compliant CRM documentation, account-level business plans, and visibility into resolution outcomes.
• Coach Patient Access Liaison colleagues and lead regional initiatives or special projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare environments.
• Experience with REMS-regulated and buy-and-bill products, specialty pharmacy programs, patient support services, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, and affordability programs.
• Experience supporting patient progression from referral through treatment initiation and building relationships with treatment sites and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel 50% or more within the assigned geography and reside within 25 miles of the territory border.
• Ability to maintain compliant, non-promotional role boundaries and collaborate effectively with matrix partners.
