Entry Level Customer Training Specialist – Traveling (Automotive Software)

Location: Chicago, IL; approximately 80% travel to customer sites

Salary: $50,000–$52,000 per year

What you will do

• Install and convert dealership software for customers, independently and with a team.
• Meet with dealership management to understand operational needs.
• Customize the system and train key dealership personnel.
• Provide customer support, prepare for future implementations, and follow up with recently installed customers from a home office.
• Complete a 2–3 month training program covering product knowledge, dealership operations, observations, classroom instruction, and mentored on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an outgoing, friendly personality.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; fewer than two moving violations in the past three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the past five years.
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
