Buyer Care Specialist I (Automotive)

Location: Westchester, Illinois, United States. Onsite full-time role with a flexible five-day schedule during Monday-Friday, 6:00am-7:30pm CST, and Saturday, 8:00am-5:00pm CST operating hours.

Salary: $18.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide customer support to internal and external buyers through phone, online chat, and email.
• Register prospective buyers, verify documents, and review accounts for accuracy and compliance with company requirements and applicable state laws.
• Support online bidding setup, account access, bidding tools, and website navigation.
• Process transactions, resolve buyer issues, and pursue one-contact resolution.
• Follow up on buyer cases in the buyer relationship management system and liaise between customers and branches.
• Build knowledge of branch operations, buyer accounts, stock files, procedures, and state licensing requirements.

Requirements

• At least three years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to understand buyer registration procedures and applicable state licensing laws.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
• Availability for an assigned five-day schedule within the stated weekday and Saturday operating hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive, insurance, or rental car industries.
• English and Spanish bilingual skills.
