TL;DR
ISS Product Integrations Leader (Medical Devices): Driving the integration of Alcon products into the Intelligent Service Solutions ecosystem with an accent on connectivity, interoperability, launch readiness, and technical transfer. Focus on designing service validation scenarios, resolving complex integration issues, and coordinating global cross-functional readiness for regulated medical device launches.

Location: Lake Forest, California office, United States

Salary: $128,350–$166,100 annually

What you will do

  • Own ISS connectivity and interoperability requirements, governance, documentation, and approval workflows.
  • Lead onboarding of AVS devices and related ISS capabilities, including roadmaps, dependencies, risks, and readiness status.
  • Define launch-readiness deliverables, validation evidence, user acceptance outcomes, service procedures, training content, and technical-transfer materials.
  • Coordinate readiness reviews, technical transfer, knowledge synchronization, and change-management activities across global and regional service organizations.
  • Design service dry runs and operational validation for installation, registration, data transfer, remote access, software deployment, troubleshooting, recovery, and escalation workflows.
  • Investigate complex issues, resolve defects, verify corrective actions, and improve integration guides, standards, metrics, and readiness checklists.

Requirements

  • Work from the Lake Forest, California office.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related experience; alternative education and experience combinations are accepted.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent English communication skills are required.
  • Experience with product integration, connected products, medical device software, interoperability, systems engineering, technical service, validation, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of connectivity, cloud-to-device communication, APIs and interfaces, networking, security, data transfer, testing, support workflows, and cross-functional leadership.

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated medical device or healthcare technology environments, including quality systems, design controls, risk management, software lifecycle practices, and regulatory evidence.
  • Knowledge of DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IoT and edge connectivity, gateways, device agents, authentication, remote access, software updates, and machine-data workflows.
  • Familiarity with ISS and AVS ecosystem capabilities such as ASC, ACA, ADC, ISCP, Rule Studio, AVS DNA, and AVS HUB.
