Solutions Deployment Engineer (AI)

Location: Miamisburg, Ohio, USA; remote position operating in a hybrid capacity with 25%–30% travel to customer sites

Salary: $96,000–$143,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct customer site surveys and assess IT and physical environments against deployment prerequisites.
• Lead remote and on-site setup, network connectivity, configuration, and commissioning of digital identification solutions and hardware.
• Analyze ERP, WMS, and MES architectures and design API integrations, data exchange interfaces, VPNs, firewalls, and network topology.
• Guide hardware setup, calibration, and troubleshooting for RFID printers, readers, tunnels, and HDRC equipment.
• Partner with Delivery Managers and Product Owners on deployment timelines, scope, and technical access requirements.
• Provide hypercare support, resolve go-live blockers, document defects and procedures, train users, and transition solutions to support teams.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in general IT, network security, and cloud-based software environments.
• Experience with API design, software development using C#, .NET Core, or Python, and hardware integration.
• Technical consulting, customer-facing delivery, or solutions engineering experience in global enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of GS1 standards, RFID infrastructure, and agile software development workflows.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for workflow enhancement, data transformation, and analysis.
• Willingness to travel 25%–30% for customer site surveys, commissioning, and go-live activities.
