What you will do

• Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a specified geographic region.
• Manage computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber-optic systems.
• Install, update, repair, and maintain hardware and software.
• Track assets and maintain detailed maintenance records.
• Use electrical theory and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust electronic equipment to required specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of computers, data networks, digital video systems, fiber optics, electronics, and telecommunications systems.
• Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, chips, hardware, software applications, machines, and tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued security clearances required.
• Readiness to travel approximately 85% of the time.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience as a satellite, telecommunications, or computer hardware technician.
