TL;DR
Education Engineer (AI) (Developer Education and AI Observability): Creating technical blogs, tutorials, videos, webinars, courses, conference talks, and hands-on workshops for AI observability and evaluation with an accent on LLM application development, teaching, and multi-format content production. Focus on building AI-assisted production pipelines, writing demo applications, and explaining rapidly evolving agentic AI concepts across developer channels.
Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area; no in-office requirement. Regular travel for conferences and occasional evening or weekend events is required.
Estimated annual salary: $100,000–$175,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do
- Write technical blog posts, tutorials, guest articles, and educational content about AI evaluation and observability.
- Produce YouTube explainers, technical walkthroughs, and internal enablement videos.
- Run webinars end to end, from topic selection and demos through follow-up content.
- Build and deliver structured courses, conference talks, and hands-on workshops, including demo applications and exercises.
- Adapt research and educational material across blogs, video, webinars, social channels, documentation, and marketing content.
- Build AI-assisted production systems and turn community feedback into product insights.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developer relations, developer education, technical content, or an engineering role producing substantial public material.
- A portfolio containing talks, videos, courses, blog posts, or workshops.
- Ability to teach technical concepts live, speak on stage, and work comfortably on camera.
- Current engineering skills and the ability to build the demo applications used for instruction.
- Working knowledge of LLM-based application development, including agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience using AI tooling in production workflows or a clear willingness to build AI-assisted systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI evaluation and observability platforms.
- Experience creating courses for platforms such as Coursera, DeepLearning.AI, LinkedIn Learning, Maven, or O'Reilly.
- Video production, editing, or technical YouTube channel experience.
- Conference talk acceptance, technical community participation, or open-source experience.
