Product Manager - Insights (12 Month Secondment) (Jira/Confluence): Owning the strategy and delivery of internal collaboration and product delivery tools for Tesco colleagues globally with an accent on stakeholder management, agile execution, and data-driven product discovery. Focus on defining MVPs, running experiments, prioritising complex work, and translating user needs into actionable requirements for engineering teams.
Location: Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom; hybrid, with 60% of the week spent collaborating at office locations or local sites and the remainder remotely

What you will do
- Own a product involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and drive its strategy and execution.
- Shape the vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for product delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
- Understand user personas, customer needs, stakeholder pain points, and product features across different audiences.
- Translate requirements into user stories, personas, and acceptance tests, helping engineering teams break complex epics into deliverable increments.
- Lead sprint and release planning, manage dependencies, and prioritise live product issues.
- Lead MVP discovery, prototyping, experimentation, and analysis to support data-driven product decisions.
Requirements
- Experience articulating product strategy in terms of consumer and business value.
- Experience applying agile techniques to deliver products.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience defining hypotheses, creating MVPs, running experiments, and analysing results.
- Technical competence to understand solution context, influence engineering decisions, and assess work complexity.
- Strong prioritisation and decision-making skills accounting for business priorities, dependencies, complexity, and value.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing Jira, Confluence, or portfolio management products across an enterprise organisation.
- Vendor management experience.
